We’ve successfully completed a school pool surround project for Cumnor House Sussex, a leading preparatory school known for its commitment to providing a safe and inspiring environment for its students.

Project Scope and Requirements
The project began with the need to replace the school’s existing rubber pool surround. Cumnor House wanted a surface that would not only enhance the aesthetic of the area but also improve safety and provide long-lasting durability.
Prep Work and Process

- Surface Uplift: We started by removing the previous rubber surface, ensuring that the underlying area was completely clear of debris.
- Surface Preparation: Next, our team used a diamond grinding technique to smooth and level the surface. This was followed by a meticulous vacuuming process to eliminate any remaining dust or particles.
- Priming: With a clean, even surface, we applied a high-quality primer to ensure optimal adhesion for the new rubber surface.
- Installation: We installed the RubbaFlex®fg rubber at a depth of 6mm. This ensures that the surface provides excellent shock absorption, slip resistance, and durability for years to come.
Our team of four experienced installers completed the project in just three days. Despite the tight timeline, we maintained our high standards for quality, precision, and safety throughout every step of the process.
