Microcement Open Plan Kitchen and Living Area Floor
A 160m² domestic open plan kitchen, living room and entrance hall installed in a ‘Duo colour blend’ of Fossil 1 and Fossil 3, supplied by Forcrete.
Using two colours allows us to install a floor, with a sense of movement and colour variation. This is achieved by installing the lighter shade as a base coat and then using the darker blend to give a rustic finish.
Microcement installations have 6 coats, so require at least 6 days to prepare and install. For this project, we required a team of 3 experienced installers working over 7 days.
