Quartz Screed floor for Wet Leisure Changing Rooms
A 300m² quartz screed installation in two colour blends – Beach and Arctic, to complete a leisure centre refurbishment.
The installation took a total of 10 working days, with a team of 4 experiences installers and included a number of key phases
- Diamond grinding and surface preparation
- Marking out the 2 colours by following detailed architect drawings
- Installing the first colour blend (Beach)
- Installation the second colour blend (Arctic)
- Applying 2 layers of Thixo coating, an epoxy to ensure the surface and upstands are totally non-porous
- Finally, applying a roller coat of PU matt sealer, with anti-slip
Our installation took a tired looking area, with dated tiles and created a bright, modern changing space that clearly shows the zoning between wet and dry areas. Our product also ensures the flooring is totally waterproof and non-slip too!
