In June we completed RubbaFlex®fg pool surround for a domestic client. They were so pleased with the work that they asked us back to complete their driveway!
The Project
We recently completed a 260m² installation of Stonex Resin Bound in the Sherwood Forest colour blend from Vuba. This project included the installation of two recessed manhole covers and an asphalt mesh system to reduce reflective cracking. The result is a visually appealing, durable surface that enhances the property’s aesthetics.
Prep Work and Process
Surface Preparation:
To ensure a stable base for the Stonex Resin Bound system, we began by preparing the surface and installing an asphalt mesh system. This step helps to reduce the risk of reflective cracking and ensures a long-lasting finish.
Installation of Recessed Manhole Covers:
We installed two recessed manhole covers as part of the project. These covers were carefully integrated into the resin surface for a seamless look, blending perfectly with the driveway’s overall design.
Application of Stonex Resin Bound:
We then installed 260m² of Stonex Resin Bound using Vuba stone and binder. The Sherwood Forest colour blend was chosen for its natural, earthy tones that complement the surrounding environment. The resin-bound surface was expertly trowelled to achieve a smooth, even finish.
